PAX 3 Replacement Parts: What You Can Still Buy and What Fits

In short: PAX still lists the main PAX 3 replacement parts on its accessories pages: standard oven screens, the replacement oven lid, the Half Pack Oven Lid, flat and raised mouthpieces and the USB-C magnetic charging cable. Listed is not the same as in stock, though: on 18 October 2026 PAX's UK store showed "Notify Me" for the charge cable and both mouthpiece packs. PAX says PAX 2, PAX 3 and PAX Plus lids, screens, chargers and mouthpieces are cross-compatible, so PAX 2 replacement parts are the same list. The battery is built in and is not designed for owner replacement.

This guide sets out which parts PAX lists, which models each one fits according to PAX, which third-party screens we stock, and when to contact PAX instead of ordering a part. We sell aftermarket PAX oven screens and the newer PAX devices, but not official PAX lids, mouthpieces or chargers, so where a part comes from PAX we say so. Our screens are in the PAX accessories and replacement parts collection.

1. PAX 3 Replacement Parts: What Is Listed

Part What PAX says Where to get it PAX UK store, 18 Oct 2026

Replacement oven lid Required for the device to work PAX Not shown in the PAX 3 category
Half Pack Oven Lid Deeper lid for a half-filled oven of about 0.25 g PAX Listed
Flat mouthpieces Two-pack PAX Notify Me
Raised mouthpieces Two-pack PAX Notify Me
USB-C magnetic charging cable Also fits the PAX Charging Tray PAX Notify Me

The UK PAX 3 category also listed the PAX Premium Maintenance Kit, Rounded Multi-Tool, cleaning swabs and Charging Tray on that date. Stock changes, so check PAX's store for your country before relying on a part arriving quickly.

2. PAX 2 and PAX 3 Compatibility Table

PAX's help centre states that all PAX 2, PAX 3 and PAX Plus oven lids, screens, chargers and mouthpieces are cross-compatible, and notes that the Mini's shallower oven does not take some accessories. The table uses the model list from each PAX accessory page:

Official PAX part PAX 2 PAX 3 PAX Plus PAX Mini PAX 1
Standard oven screens Yes Yes Yes Listed (Mini and Mini Gen 1) Not listed
Replacement oven lid Yes Yes Yes Listed No
Half Pack Oven Lid Yes Yes Yes Mini Gen 2 only No
Flat mouthpieces Yes Yes Yes Listed Not listed
Raised mouthpieces Yes Yes Yes Listed No
USB-C magnetic charging cable Yes Yes Yes Listed (Mini and Mini Gen 2) Not listed

"No" means PAX's page says not compatible; "not listed" means PAX does not name the model either way. Two newer models need their own parts:

  • PAX Flow. PAX lists its Flow oven screens, Flow oven door and Flow Grip Sleeve as Flow-only, so treat PAX 3 and Flow screens as separate parts.
  • PAX 4. PAX lists the PAX 4 oven lid as compatible with the PAX 4 only, so do not expect lids to carry over between a PAX 3 and a PAX 4.

3. Oven Screens

Official PAX screens

PAX's standard oven screens are flat and come in a three-pack. PAX says they were originally designed for the PAX 2 and PAX 3, and lists them for the PAX 2, PAX 3, Mini, Mini Gen 1 and Plus.

Aftermarket 3D screens we stock

Our screens are designed by The Vapetrix, not PAX. Both listings name the PAX 2 and PAX 3 among their compatible devices, give dimensions of about 17 × 8.4 × 2 mm and describe a drop-in fit:

Our screen Listing describes Pack
3D oven screens A raised 3D mesh in 304 stainless steel 10 or 20
High airflow 3D screens A high-airflow version of the raised 3D design, in stainless steel 5

3D oven screens for PAX 2 and PAX 3

Our 3D vs regular screen guide compares the two styles, and how to keep your PAX oven clean covers cleaning and when a screen is worth changing. If you are unsure whether a screen suits your unit, ask us before ordering.

4. Oven Lids: Standard and Half Pack

Replacement oven lid

PAX states on its replacement lid page that the lid is required for the device to operate, and lists it for the PAX 2, PAX 3, Mini and Plus, but not the PAX 1. If a PAX 3 will not start a session, a missing or poorly seated lid is worth checking first.

Half Pack Oven Lid

The Half Pack Oven Lid is deeper, so it takes up part of the oven. PAX says it suits a half-filled oven of about 0.25 g. It fits the PAX 2, PAX 3, PAX Plus and PAX Mini Gen 2, but not the PAX 1 or the first-generation Mini. It is PAX's own option for smaller sessions.

5. Mouthpieces and Charger

PAX sells flat mouthpieces in a two-pack for the PAX 2, PAX 3, Mini and Plus. Its raised mouthpieces also come as a two-pack, listed for the PAX 2, PAX 3, Mini and Plus and not for the PAX 1. For charging, PAX's USB-C magnetic charging cable is listed for the PAX 2, PAX 3, Mini, Mini Gen 2 and Plus, and it also fits the PAX Charging Tray. All three were on "Notify Me" in PAX's UK store when we checked.

6. Battery and Internal Faults

The PAX 3's battery is integrated and is not designed for owner replacement. We have not found PAX selling batteries, heaters or circuit boards as retail spares, so for those faults the route is PAX's support team, whether or not the device is still under warranty.

Before you contact PAX, rule out the simple checks:

  • Lid. Make sure the lid is fitted and fully seated, since PAX says the device needs it to operate.
  • Weak draw. Our PAX airflow guide walks through packing and screen checks.
  • Charging. Try a different power source and check the cable seats on the device. If it still will not charge, contact PAX.

7. PAX Warranty: What to Check First

PAX's current warranty policy gives the PAX 3 a ten-year limited warranty from the date of retail purchase by the original buyer. For the PAX 2, the same policy page lists both a ten-year and a two-year term, so confirm which applies to your unit with PAX. The main conditions, all from that policy:

  • It covers defects in materials and workmanship, not normal battery wear or accessories.
  • It applies to devices bought from PAX or an authorised retailer. PAX says devices bought through eBay or Craigslist are not covered.
  • It does not transfer to a second owner.
  • A repair or replacement does not restart the warranty period.
  • PAX says coverage may be limited in specific countries.

If you bought your device new from an authorised seller and it is inside its term, contact PAX before buying anything, with your proof of purchase ready. If a fading battery is outside warranty and you decide to move on, we stock the PAX 4, PAX Mini 2 and PAX Flow; the PAX 4 lid and Flow screens are model-specific, so not every PAX 3 spare will move across.
